Colors

The fonts aren't coming through, but that isn't the point. These are the two alternate colors that were sent to Denise. Both were seen in class & approved with changes. The changes were made & they were sent.

Updated Information

The palettes were sent on March 12th (I'm working on getting them uploaded here). I also placed a phone call to Denise on March 21st. I have still yet to hear from her. Our plan for the next week is pretty much waiting for some sort of information/decisions from Denise so that we may move forward. Without any concrete layout, colors, or information, it is nearly impossible to be productive with this project. There are, of course, always small tweaks that can be made to each layout, however, I do not want to spend time working on something that may not even be chosen. Thoughts??

Would like an update if Denise has contacted group yet. Also, post the new color chips and pdfs of newsletters given to client.

Monday's Meeting

We went over some new color palette options. We're trying to tweak small things and make technical adjustments to keep moving forward. Still haven't heard from Denise yet, I will send a second email if I have not heard from her by tomorrow - that will be 1 week from the original email.

Colors:

-More gender-neutral, although she does like the darker yellows & browns

-Incorporate more purple? (its her favorite color)

-Tweak colors of original comps, they were too muddy & dark

Meeting with Denise

We met with Denise on Thursday. Overall, she liked our ideas and concepts for her brochures and schedule. A few things to think about:

- Alternate color pallets?

- How to display schedule in 8.5 x 11 box outside door

- Tone down colors overall (lighten)

We are now waiting for Denise to get back to us with her thoughts/changes/approvals. I will email her very soon to touch base and see if she has made any steps toward a choice.

Feedback on comps. / To do list

- Find Chakra chart and incorporate it into the layout
- Use the colors/symbols etc.

- Present 3 vertical layouts and 1 horizontal layout to the class on Tuesday

- Have a GOOD explanation for using the vertical layout (ie., chart, yoga positions, ways of thinking, enlightenment)

- Use the "green layout" and incorporate the flower & flourishes coming in from the side

- Find out from Denise who is printing the brochures & schedules (are we to find a printer or does she have her own?)

- Remind Denise to let us know what information she would like highlighted in the brochures. Maybe suggest alternate ways of presenting the "leftover" information?
